An Ongoing Experiment in O-O Software Process and Product Measurements

This paper reports on an ongoing software measurement experiment which has been set up to monitor and evaluate team based student projects on a progressive basis. Student Assessment-Tutorial Ongoing Proole Sheets (SA-TOPS) have been used to provide a more objective feedback to improve students' learning and for measuring their understanding for grading purposes. The objective of the measurement is to improve the quality of the software process and product by measuring the activities of a scenario based development of an Object-Oriented system by various student teams.
